MEET LOIS
Lois, our Comfort Dog, visits all kinds of places in the community. Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dogs are friends who bring a calming influence, allowing people to open up their hearts and to receive help. Contact Jennifer at [email protected] to serve.
Lois is a trained LCC K-9 Comfort Dog for First Good Shepherd School and Church. She interact with people at churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, events, and in disaster response situations. A Comfort Dog is a friend who brings a calming influence, allowing people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them.

Great Christmas Idea and the money goes to OUR Comfort Dog Ministry “Lois”
After Lois retires (in a few years), FGS is looking to continue comfort dog ministry with a new dog. Please contact Jennifer Pollock if you are interested in serving on this ministry team. If you aren’t able to volunteer, but would like to financially support the ministry, please bring your offerings to church and mark them for comfort dog ministry.
